The person and work of Jesus Christ is fully revealed in Scripture. In fact four truths must be affirmed in order to have a complete bigger picture of what the Bible teaches about the person and work of Jesus Christ.
The first essential understanding is that the person of Jesus Christ is fully divine. The second essential understanding in Scripture about the person of Jesus Christ is that Jesus is fully human.
The third understanding is that the divine and human natures in Christ are distinct as well as the fourth teaching which is that the divine and human natures of Jesus Christ are completely united in one person.
